I really want another bottle of Black Shatter!

From what I know, Australia probably won't restock these collections anymore. Not sure why there are news on the net that say the release date is on March 2011... Almost every bottle is sold out at my local store!

Good luck girls on getting them :D

ZARA shop online.

but only in Europe.

SIGH

I was so excited when I saw the news and then it's only available in a few countries. (--__--)

My first purchase from ZARA was a few months back in July when I returned for winter holidays. Momo and I went over to 313@Somerset and when I saw ZARA's logo, I literally went mad orz And they were having sales so basically I just grabbed whatever I saw hahaha but of course not all of them were nice on me. In the end I didn't get any sales item QQ all I bought were full-priced items SIGH.

Anyway I tried one trousers there and fell in love with it. But momo stopped me 'cos I've already spent quite a lot during our trip haha. Then I though ok it's not that nice on me so you know I came back without it.

One week later (fts) I saw the same trousers on PopSister and my heart stopped beating QQ Got so annoyed for not getting that trousers and Australia has no ZARA!!!!!! Whined for the whole day until I decided to ask for help from a seller who lives in NY.

Originally the trousers costs around AUD$80 and I had to pay AUD$120 for it SIGH. Why don't ZARA come to Australia?

Now as online shops are available in Europe, I guess it won't be long till USA and JAPAN launch their online shops (fingers crossed). Hopefully then they will realise that Australia is a potential market to increase their sales too haha.

OKAY I am very sad lahhhhhhhhhhhhhh :(

Looks like I'd better stick with Japan stuff lolllll
bai everyone

The Complete(?) Guide to Online Shopping

Over the years, I get more and more people asking me where and how do I shop online.

And I always find it hard to explain. It's not that I don't want to share laaa but it's just almost impossible to tell them the way I buy stuff off websites in simple words lol. So today, I thought maybe it will save me times if I write a post on online shopping then next time I can show it to those who ask me this question again. HAHA
Nowadays my parcels just get bigger and bigger.

I started doing this since 3 years ago. At first I was also worried like those who are new to online shopping. Will I get cheat? Can I really use my credit card? What if I paid and the seller ran away? What if these clothes don't suit me? Is it cheaper to buy online? How do I know if the pictures of the product are exactly the same as the real thing?

Well, I can tell you the answers for half of these questions need experience. And the rest of it? It depends on yourself.

You know there are risks of the clothes not fitting. You know sometimes the seller might be a pro photographer and when you get the product it looks like shit. But you chose to buy online right? Then you got to be careful of the websites/sellers you go to.

1. Check their ratings from the buyers. Higher ratings = better products.

2. Sometimes ratings is not enough, look at the way they communicate with the buyers. There are many sellers out there who only care about money and nothing about you.

3. Ask as many questions as you can if unsure.

4. Still can't believe them? Look for forums that discuss about sellers or the specific products you are looking for. You can get lots of info from forums.

And about your credit card, seller running away and getting overpriced stuff, you have to be really careful about it.

Don't know about you but I have never got cheated off the web. It's rather safe.... IF YOU ARE SMART ENOUGH.

I mean... which idiot will buy from a seller that has no rating / negative ratings / no pictures of the product? And which moron will pay $100 for something that costs only $50? You do think before you buy RIGHT???

Don't know lah but those scams are really obvious. Just try to be rational all the time. Don't get tempted by really cheap stuff. If you think "WOW this clothes is super cheap!!! The official site lists it twice more expensive!!!" then it must be fake la. Aiyor do you know how great China is in reproduction nowadays?! And they reproduce everything massively.

So something that is supposed to be out of stock already should not appear on the web anymore and if you buy it then I got nothing to say about your brain la unless the seller is someone you can trust or it's second hand..

What about credit cards?

Well, you heard of eBay?
You know how many shops are listed in eBay?
Then do you know they hardly encourage buyers using credit cards?

These days... no one use credit card for online shopping liao... It's PAYPAL PAYPAL PAYPAL!!!

PAYPAL ROCKS!

okay NOT if the transaction involves currency conversion.

With Paypal, everything is safe. I have been using it for almost 4 years!! And nothing bad happen to me except that I need to pay bit more for foreign transaction la.

Only use your credit card on websites that can be trust or listed as safe by your credit card company. Also, for VISA, if the websites are safe, there will be a "Verified by VISA" logo then you can use your card without any doubts.

So now, credit card problem gone. What else?

Oh... Big question.

Where do you shop online?

SIGH. feel like dividing this post into two parts...

I shop mainly from Japan and Taiwan. Sometimes bit of Korea and USA. I did UK and Europe before. Where else? Oh, Hong Kong too.

Then your next question must be WAAAAAAAA which website that has so many stuff from all over the world???!!!! TELL ME!!!

My answer?

WWW.

You: wth is that.

Me: World Wide Web.

:D

Sometimes I get more than one parcel in a day... My record is 5 in a week. The green box is from Taiwan, and the blue one is from Japan.

You know.. I really have no idea how to tell you guys where I shop.

Basically I shop everywhere. I shop so much that now everything I wear is not from Australia. HAHAHA. My jeans can be from Singapore (Levi's Lady's la Australia sucks don't have!!), my bag is from Korean, my shoes is from Taiwan, my tops from Japan. You see.. how do I answer people when they ask me where I shop?

So now I am going to tell you how I find these websites.

First of all, the easiest way, is through fashion blogs.

(Note: don't buy from blogshop ar the stuff are all from China/Taiwan. trust me lah all their clothes I have seen before from Taiwanese websites. And I have not bought anything off blogshop before... their price is way too high for the quality.)

Fashion blogs have a lot of information on the online shops. Normally these bloggers list out where they buy their stuff, though it might be only the brand but you can try finding its official online shop.

The blog can be in any languages. Doesn't matter as long as you can read them. I personally read more of the Taiwanese blogs (in fact I write one too XD) because I like the styles more. It depends on your preferences.

For Japanese style, you can find it on both English and Mandarin blogs. Eventually you will know more about where you can shop online.

Next, the most powerful tool ever (IMO), JAPANESE FASHION MAGAZINES.

As mentioned, I shop mainly from Japan and Taiwan. Taiwan = blogs and Japan = magazines!

In Japan, they call online shopping "net shopping". Therefore online shop = net shop. Most of the popular huge brands that you see in the magazines have net shops. Almost stocks as much as the stores.

Can't get to Japan? SHOP ONLINE.

these are only one third of my Japanese magazines XD Don't worry if you can't read Japanese, some of the famous magazines are available in Mandarin. Anyway you don't really have to read them. Pictures tell everything.

But be careful ar... I call these Japanese magazines the most powerful tool ever for a reason. It can burn all your money in one glance.

You look at the model (read: LENA FUJI) and you go "OMGOSH SO PRETTY!!! I NEED THAT DRESS!!!" then you look at the price and it's like $200 for a plain dress (Yen is very expensive) but your eyes are still on the model then before you know, the dress is already on the way to your house.....

Bought the dress without realising your eyes are not as big as the model / your face is chubby / you are too short for that dress / your boobs not big enough laaaa / WORST CASE EVER: YOU CAN'T FIT INTO THAT DRESS AND YOU CAN'T RESELL IT BECAUSE NO ONE WILL BUY IT. IT'S TOO EXPENSIVE FOR A PLAIN DRESS LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I repeat, BE CAREFUL AR.

(No I didn't buy something I cannot fit into, I bought something that is too big for me zzzzzzzz but I sold it ^____^)

Of course not all of the magazines feature expensive stuff. ViVi definitely has I-cannot-afford-clothes. I still like it. But my current favourite magazine is PopSister!!

You might heard of Popteen before. PopSister is the sister magazine of Popteen, it suits girls who are bit older in terms of age. It's more mature but still cute if compared to Popteen. Most of the past models from Popteen are now modeling in PopSister and I definitely prefer PopSister's models. Popteen is dominated by kumiko = =

And PopSister does feature more affordable clothes than ViVi. The price is like heaven and it's worn by the models!!!!!! So now don't need to be too careful when reading PopSister HAHAHA

Lastly, I am going to list down some of my favourite sites.

1. Taiwan Yahoo Bid
you have to know Mandarin for this site. It's like eBay but very little sellers accept Paypal / credit cards. Need middle person if you want to buy from here. Quality is not that good.

2. Japan - Earth Music & Ecology
got to love their styles. it's cheaper for Japan's goods and the quality is still very good.

3. Japan - INGNI
some of their stuff can be cheaper or expensive. but quality is still very good.

4. Japan - Allamanda
this is a sister brand of INGNI and it's more expensive overall. however nice style :D

5. Japan - LOWRY'S FARM
i love their shoes. and all the stuff has pictures of the shopkeepers wearing them. this way you can imagine better wearing it on yourself compared to seeing mannequins wearing it.

6. Japan - HEATHER
same as LOWRY'S FARM you get pictures of shopkeepers with the clothes/bags/shoes/hats. it's also under the same company.

7. Japan - Dazzlin'
expensive brand haha but I love it.

8. Japan - Liz Lisa
the models are cute and the things are not cheap. still, heart.

9. Japan - Pageboy
caucasian models and quite expensive.

10. Japan - FLAG-J
get their boots during winter it's cheap and good.

11. Korea - Cherry KOKO
everyone is crazy about this online shop! It's not a brand it's a shop that carries many apparels from different unknown factories. price is a bit higher than what you can find in other stores. the models are really pretty too.

Okay. This is what I can think of for the time being. See out off 11 of them 9 are Japanese brands HAHA and there are more but too expensive to list out I guess XD Actually all the things I bought from Japan have good quality. So you don't really have to worry about it. It's worth every cent of your money.

However, like the Taiwanese, these net shops don't accept credit cards too. And Japanese seldom send internationally. So you need middle person again. This normally costs 5-10% of your total purchase. I would say 10% is too much so try looking for lower cost ones.

Hope this post helps. I can't do more than this T____T Or maybe I can I am just too lazy to type hahaha.

If you need the contact details of my middle persons in Taiwan and Japan, you can leave a message and I will get back to you. They send everywhere as long as you have Paypal.

Thanks for reading HAHA and I guess I won't update until errrrrrrrrr I get bored XD

2010 = ?

...2 more years to the end of the world!

HAHAHAH as if it is real. I didn't watch the movie but erm would like to tell everyone that the day the world ends will never be made known to anyone. Only God knows according to the Bible. Don't confront me how I know it's real lah if you believe (or are scared by the idea of end of the world) that there will be a day like this then may I know where does this belief come from? Bible lah still got where... So obviously only God Himself knows. Why would He want everyone expecting Him to come on that day. It's not like all of us will repent and turn into Christian, well maybe during 2012 many might "become" Christians but I doubt all of them are doing it truthfully....

But it's a good movie! As in the theme. It makes everyone panicked about what they are doing right now... and how many "years" they have left on this earth. like shit it's the end of the world and I am still wasting my life here reading this blog HAHAHA I hope you guys read more about the Bible than this blog XDD

Okay now let's talk about my resolutions for 2010 ^^

1. I will sleep before 12AM. (6 minutes to 12AM now...)
2. I will wake up early and try not to waste too much time on makeup so that I can eat my breakfast and become a smarter person.
3. I will make sure I finish reading all the books I have bought since n years ago. This includes all my Japanese fashion magazines hehe.
4. I will buy more books and read them! At least 20, of course not including magazines lah.
5. I promise I will study properly for my Japanese exam in uni, provided that I haven't learnt it before. (Quite impossible hehehe)
6. I will start learning cello!
7. I will spend less. (Broke. I was still spending when the clock ticked to 12. = =)
8. I will swear less. Goodbye "sibeh" my love T___T
9. I will try not to go to the pet shops that often!
10. I will eat more and increase my weight to 47kg. (Highly impossible task.)

Okay..

12.00AM!!!

GOODNIGHT!

o hai

life has been great especially after results were out because that means no more worrying for it! there goes my 3 weeks holiday... wasted =(

but i have 2 more weeks! fear not! AHHAHA (actually it's 8 days more = =) and since I don't have to be scared of my results anymore, I will post photos up!

BUT.....

I can't do it without my pen tablet..... :( lao kor scolded me when I asked if I should bring back Bamboo that day = = so blame him HAHAHAHAH

anyway I am quite lazy too *shifty eyes hopefully I get the motivation soon :p

hmmmmmmmmm it's sale season in Japan~~~ I'm going crazy cos most stuff are like 50% off wuwuwuwuwu but I have to control myself cos my wardrobe is so small!!!! :( Japan is such a great country! ( ̄ε ̄@)CHU− but with very expensive currency wth

okay I need to do more shopping! I only got like 3 pairs of shoes and 2 dresses this time! NO BAGS!!!!! T______________T I want to cry I need a new bag for school /boooo but our Singapore trip is sooooooooooo good! I love Watson! you cannot believe how many more things they actually sell in Singapore than those in Malaysia! all the Japanese products!!! it was so much better than Takashimaya (cos it's very expensive) ok no lah I used to love Takashimaya when I was young but nowadays I got bored of it... you know.. like it's the same old brands in the same old shoppping centre XDDD maybe I will also get bored of Watson = =

I never get bored of shopping in Singapore! but I think I will be more happy if I am in Taiwan! everything is so much cheaper there! a same eyeshadow pallete is like S$50 cheaper in Taiwan after shipping cost! cheap or not! I don't know why is it so cheap in Taiwan but everything is still made in Japan (or same country as those sold in Singapore and Australia)!

hmm maybe I should take a subject like international trade next year WTH hahahahah

okay I am going to take a nap = = so tired I slept at 1 plus last night and woke up at 11 lor! aiya I know it's enough liao but I am not used to waking up before noon HAHAH and my body will fell tired no matter what!! XD

tell me i am fatttt

this gotta be the hectic-est day in my life!

i went to bed at 2 plus on Saturday morning and woke up with fever at 8AM! in between i woke up a few times cos i was shivering the whole night = =

Then i realised i might not be able to make it for my flight because 1) i haven't packed and my flight is at 5PM and 2) i will die on the plane with the body temperature like this! wanted to cancel it but i was too weak to find out the phone number so i decided that i will sleep while pack while cook porridge.....

So i took like 1.5 hour to pack my stuff before i can swallow down the porridge with vegemite (FTW!!) and pop some pills and went to bed..... i didnt literally pop a lot of pills lahhh.. in between i think my brother called and asked if i want lunch... drink more water or eat more pills or sleep more i can't remember...

then it was 1pm when i woke up to err lots of sweat with no fever (yay!) and continue to pack but i didn't really know what i was doing so imagine this morning i checked my luggage and saw all the junks that i shouldn't be bringing back.............

when lao kor came it was 2.40pm and i was eating my second bowl of porridge while shivering again.......................... and he made me ate more pills (no i dont do drugs) called "cold & flu" which expired 3 years ago.........................

amazingly before we reached the airport i was so much better already! but have to pretend sick if not he wont carry my luggages for me and queue up to check-in with me hahahahhahaha

so you see even the packaging says expired liao it's still very powder-ful ok! i was so sick and after two already-expired-3-yrs-ago pills i was like a normal person! hmm but with weak body still couldn't carry the luggages hahahhaa

and when i was on the plane i was so happy i watched 3 movies!!!! HP and the half-blood prince, UP and time traveler's wife!! all which i was supposed to watch in melbourne but didn't get to watch!! I LOVE SIA~~~~~~

and A380 is not bad lahhhhhhhhhh hmm it's slightly bigger (for economy class) but the washroom is still the same............................... do they design it for like M size people only?! honestly even i find it small okay! zz what's wrong with bigger spaced washroom on the plane (for economy class)?? everything was so much bigger for business class.... i still remember how big it was T___________T

err but i got airsick cos of turbulence and it was my first time getting sick on a plane WTH maybe i was already sick so it got worse but after a while i was fine again = =

anyway i ate another 2 pills when i was on the plane hahaha when we reached it was almost 10am (flight got delayed in melbourne). took damn long to get my luggages and when i finally could get out of the place..... that female officer instructed me to queue up for security scanning............

OF ALL PEOPLE SHE HAD TO CHOOSE ME.

like seriously lor do i look like a criminal to you har!!!! there were so many people why must you choose me?? somemore the queue damn long i have to wait another 10 minutes! what about those people that you watch them walking pass in front of you!?!??!?!!?

= =

sibeh tulan

when i got out it was like what 11pm?!

and then they decided to have supper..............................................

and then when i got home it was 2-3am T_____________________________T

and i slept at 4am,

and woke up at 9am...........................................................

T______________________________________T

= =

anyway, nothing much at home changes...

except we've got two new maids who are quite funny HAHHAHA my grandma not here anymore (in ICU now FYI), grandpa still looks the same...

my dogs are lovely♥

my room looks the same♥

and the TV just got bigger and bigger...........................

my dad is mad XD momo says he doesnt care when it comes to things he likes... quite true, judging on the new set of sound system..... seriously his hearing is like errrrr okay below average so why did he spent so much on the sound system!!!!! HAHAHAHHAHA okay i know it sounds bad like i am laughing at my dad but it's funny :/ oh and he got a new dvd player which looks damn cool and doesnt look like a player at all = = かっこいい! my dvd player is cooler than yours man! hahahahah

oh and everyone says i got skinnier...

thanks ar if i am a fatty i will feel complimented but no i dont like people saying i look skinnier because i am not!!!!!!!!!

:(

except walking to school everyday i didnt even exercise! so how can i be skinnier right... i should have fats accumulating around my waist and thighs but nooooooooo nothing....

まだ、ただいま。

There are two homes in my heart,
home which I left my old memories and some love ones behind;
and the other one, which has what makes me grow.

Neither is more loved than the other;
both are uncomparable.

Today I am leaving the new one behind,
to be reunited with the old one.

But I will not be happy of leaving,
nor one month later will I be happy for leaving again.

If only I could bring them together,
then my life will be complete.

Melbourne and the people in there, you will be missed.

Mini Cooper is 50!

This post is so lateeeeee!

Haha late as in I wanted to post this last Monday when I was rushing for Finance assignment... everytime when I am running out of time for assignments I feel like blogging and when I am free, I totally forgot about this place = ="

Anyway, I will probably start driving again... (did I hear my dad singing hallelujah XDDD)

There was this incident that happened a few weeks ago in my Japanese lesson which my teacher asked us if we know how to drive. Obviously everyone in the class knows how (all of us except me are working) until it was my turn.....

Hiroko sensei: Jocelyn-san, do you know how to drive?
Me: Errrr... Tabun? (means maybe)
Hiroko & everyone else: Tabun?!

Then I had to start explaining why I might know how to drive a car wth. in the end everyone was laughing at me :((((( but I was still very proud of owning a license but don't know how to drive! HAHAHAHHAHA wth

Anyway then a few days ago some lightning strucked me and I decided that I am going to take up lessons soooon (if I got time lah but obviously AHHAH maybe next year wth)!

Why ar.. cos my Mini Cooper craving is back wth

Melbourne has so many MC that I cannot possibly ignore the fact that I still haven't got the dream car I want T_________T this is shopaholic's syndromw wth. you tend to forget things you can't get to buy self hypnotising wth HAHAHAHA but living in Melbourne is impossible for me to try to forget!!! zzzzzzzzz

so hor.. unless everyone in the family (actually I am just worried about big sis decision AHHAHAHA) agrees to buy a mini for me, I won't drive HAHAHAHHA threatening leiiii wth

how ar what if she doesnt let T________T then I don't want to drive liao lor! :(

actually I think buy liao I won't drive also.. exhibits it in the carpark HAHAHA wth just like what I did to most of my best buys wth

ok lah bye I'm starting to talk nonsense...

p.s. if no mini then bmw convertible thanks XDDDDDDDDDDD
